1972 Buick GS Stage1
Greg has owned his Stage1 since 1981 and has been very successful at the F.A.S.T. races, running a best of 11.000 @ 125 MPH and winning the F.A.S.T. class at the 2006 Englishtown, NJ F.A.S.T. race. For detailed information on this car, see the December 2003 issue of HOTROD magazine. Its a tell all on what it took to make this car run 11's on bias-ply street tires. All short block machining and balancing is expertly done by Hansen Racing Engines.
On October 14th of 2006, racing at Cecil County Dragway in Maryland, Greg ran a 10.95 @ 126 MPH at a non-offical (No F.A.S.T. teching) event!
Greg's Stage1 uses:
- GHP ported Level 5 - Super Competition cylinder heads
- GHP Super Shootout Intake manifold
- GHP Super Shootout exhaust manifolds

At the time (2004), the 11.17 pass was the official F.A.S.T. elapsed time record.
