LEVEL 2 - Edelbrock Aluminum Performer RPM - Stage 1

Includes Level 1 plus: Intake, Exhaust port and combustion chamber is modified for increased horsepower and air flow. Valves are back cut with proper angle to work with these heads.

Recommended for a cost effective increase in flow thruout the .100" - .600" lift range. This head produces great flow with excellent intake port velocity.

Edelbrock heads require several non-standard Buick parts such as :
Rocker Arms-

xxx GHP-3461 1.6 ratio Aluminum roller tip rocker arm kit.

Pushrods- 3/8" diameter guideplate compatible pushrods required, approximate length is 9.650".
xxx GHP Strongly recommends delaying the purchase of pushrods until after determining proper pushrod length for your engine.
xxx Use a pushrod length checking tool to determine actual required length.
xxx GHP-3520 Pushrod length checking tool. Easy to use, graduated tool allows use with out need for expensive dial caliper.
xxx GHP has custom length pushrods available.
xxx Detailed instructions on determining correct pushrod geometry.
Intake manifold mounting bolts- Edelbrock heads do not accept stock Buick 455 intake manifold bolts.
GHP-5300 Flanged head, grade-8, Intake manifold bolt kit for Edelbrock heads.
Spark Plugs- Good street plugs for Edelbrock heads.
GHP-4701 Champion Copper Plus Spark Plugs
